A beautiful mission.......the point of the trip was to see and learn about the mission. Now we have to write a report on it and build it.

Came home to this !!!! Rain or shine......hot or cold, I am ALWAYS ready for a trip to beach !!!!!

Michael's has their mission kits on sale this week, if you want to start with that as a base. You could always add your own embellishments. Matthew's group is using macaroni for the roof top, then painting it brown.

Wow, how beautiful. I love how the missions are so well taken care of...what a wonderful opportunity for the kids to learn about history from first hand experience. Looks like a fabulous weekend!

I was taking photos of the same rainbow out the car window as I came home from So.Cal. on Sunday too!!!
We should compare our photography results one of these days--I just kept oohing and aahing as it changed, brightened, faded and finally stretched into the full double arch across the sky--it got so bright!!! But I just don't think the camera can catch it the way our naked eye does. What fun, huh?
