12.....seriously.....how did this happen ???

Claire's May 30th b-day started at school on May 28th. Claire and Danielle share a b-day, so we did treat together. Her wish was to have her 3 best buddies hit the mall together. That we did. Shopping, make up done, lunch at Cheesecake Factory....loads of FUN !!!

Family b-day....bbq'd hot dogs, chili, fruit and salad. Claire made her own red velvet cake with vanilla bean frosting.

Happy 12th Birthday Claire !!!!!!!

Spring Break 2010

Hello San Diego !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous weather the entire week....YES :) Very cool place .......

Man did we luck out with this. This lion was sitting on top of a trailer right at this viewing spot. So beautiful. Also, very glad there was a very thick window to see him through :)

We stayed out onthis for quite a while soaking up the sun and watching the seals.

LOVE, LOVE this zoo !!!!!!!

This was HILARIOUS !!!! There was a guy standing at this viewing window who is doing a study for school and he visits the chimps everyday, so they recognize him. This chimp is Alex. How FUNNY is this !!!! I guess he does this everyday when he sees this guy.

4th grade mission trip.....

Our first stop was Monterey. We first toured the Custom House. It is a museum about California's history.....very cool !!

We got to eat a picnic lunch out in this gorgeous sunshine. Could not have had better weather :)
Then to San Juan Bautista Mission. This is one of the Stations of the Cross. Love how it is numbered inside the stenciled heart.

This is both 4 grade classes outside the mission.

This is day 74. Heading to bunco....love this old neighborhood :)

Day 75....fun to see flowers coming out of the top of bag of groceries.

Day 76......sidewalk chalk on the walkway...happy spring Day 77....this was John running the 200 meter dash. He got 1st place !!!!

Day 78......the arrow of light ceremony for scouts. The Diener Ranch is a lovely place.

Track........

So proud of John in his first track meet of the season. He got a 5th in high jump and a 2nd in the 400 meter run. Go SAS !!!!!!!!
