We begin again......

Here we go into our 4th year of Girl Scouts, as a Junior ;) Excited about our meeting after school today. We are making praise cards. The girls are going to write nice things about each other and the girls can keep the cards in their backpacks, desks, home etc... We are also going to scrapbook !!!!

Camp Chawanakee........

Our annual trip to Shaver Lake for Boy Scout/Family camp weekend !!!!! The top picture is the view from out tent...beautiful !!!! I love this picture of John and his bf Troy, before heading out on the canoe. Claire LOVED kayaking. The archery is SO FUN !!! There are HUGE rocks everywhere, so it is climbing heaven.

Happy 1st day of school !!!!!!!!!!

WOW....I have a 4th grader and a 2nd grader !!!!!!!!! Claire has Ms. Morris and John has Ms. Ostdiek.......FUN year !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Claire had Ms. Ostdiek when she was in 2nd grade and she is so fun !!!! She is getting married in October. John and I are THRILLED to be invited to her wedding ;)

Camping..........

We had a great time !!! We went to Bodie....an old mining ghost town....WAY COOL !!!!!! The 2nd picture...our hike. It was to Bennettville....also an old mining area. We climbed almost 900 ft to 10,000 ft. The views were spectacular. Ellery Lake is just BEAUTIFUL !!!!!! The sweet deer...we had them in our campground every morning and evening. The Nature trail was cool too :)
